Biography

    Dejan Vujičić was born on October 26th, 1988 in Čačak, Serbia. He went to elementary school in Viča, a village in Dragačevo, and finished it as a holder of Vuk Karadžić diploma. He finished gymnasium of natural sciences in Čačak, also as a holder of Vuk Karadžić diploma.

        In 2007, he entered the Technical faculty in Čačak, majoring in Computer Science in 2011, with an average grade of 9.58, as valedictorian. In the same year, he enlisted the master studies on the same faculty, majoring in Computer Engineering the following year with an average grade of 10.00. His master thesis entitled "Localization of objects in wireless sensor networks" was graded with a score of 10, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Siniša Ranđić.

        Later on, he enrolled at the master studies at the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. In 2016, he finished the master studies with an average score of 9.50, receiving the title M.Sc. in Astronomy. The master thesis "The application of nine degrees of freedom sensor for determination of telescope position", under the supervision of Dr. Bojan Novaković and Dr. Rade Pavlović, was graded with a score of 10.

        In 2014, he enlisted at doctoral studies at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering module, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak.

    He speaks English, French, and Russian.

    During the studies, he was awarded and scholarshiped several times:

  • Award for best ranked student at the entrance exam, 2007;
  • Award from the fund of "Milivoje Urošević" for the valedictorian, 2010-2011 school year;
  • Scholarship of the Young talents fund, Ministry of youth and sport of the Republic of Serbia, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school year;
  • Scholarship of the University of Kragujevac for the best student at the Technical faculty in Čačak, 2010-2011 school year.

Working experience   

  • Since 2014 - Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer and Software Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak;
  • 2013-2014 - Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak;
  • 2012-2013 - Researcher Assistant at the sector of Telecommunications, Mihajlo Pupin Institute, Belgrade;
  • 2012 - Laboratory Assistant at the Department of General electrical engineering and electronics, Technical Faculty in Čačak.

Research projects

Participant on the project "Development and modeling of energy efficient, adaptable, multiprocessor and multisensory electronic low-power systems", no. ТR 32043, since 2015.
