Undergraduate students Arsenije Stošić and Miloš Ćirović from FTS Čačak, enrolled in the Information Technology program, along with Dragana Perišić, a master's student in Engineering Management, have been awarded the 1st place in Serbia for their paper titled "Circular Economy in Construction." Their supervisor was dr Neda Nikolić, an associate professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak. This achievement qualifies them to compete for the best paper in Europe at the The Annual Conference of the European Demolition Association (EDA) from June 13 to 15, 2024, in Belgrade.

 

 

The 5th annual conference of the Serbian Association for Demolition, Decontamination, and Recycling, titled "Deconstruction and Public Interest" took place on November 29, 2023, in Belgrade. The association aims to implement new regulations concerning demolition, transportation, and storage of construction waste, standardize products derived from recycling construction waste, and initiate educational programs to train individuals in this specific field.
