Representatives of Science and Technology Park (STP) Čačak and prof. dr Danijela Milošević, dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak signed an agreement on February 20, 2024 on the implementation of the project "Formation and development of an innovation incubator at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak".
The Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak is one of the faculties that received the project approved by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.
After the signing of the agreement, the representatives of the faculty and STP summarized the activities realized so far, discussed the innovative infrastructure capacities, support and backup of start-up teams and companies, as well as the implementation plan for future activities.
Prof. dr Snežana Dragićević, vice dean for finance and cooperation with the economy, emphasized the importance of this project for students, employees and everyone else who wants to engage in scientific research work and pointed out that all of them can receive an adequate support from the faculty and the Science and Technology Park at any time.
Milica Đoković, coordinator of the Innovation Incubator project, and Milena Nikolić, vice dean student, also drew attention to the exceptional opportunity offered to start-up teams and individuals who want to take active part in the field of innovation.
The director of STP Čačak, Mirko Pešić said he was satisfied that the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation recognized the importance of setting up an incubator at the faculty, because investing in the faculty is also an investment in the development of the economy and future innovative solutions. The Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak is a significant resource for innovation and scientific research projects, and STP is its partner and supporter on the way to continuous improvement and progress.
The first training for the implementation of activities in the Innovation incubator at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak is planned for February 27, 2024.
