The program for the improvement of entrepreneurial competences

At the invitation of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Nikola Radosavljević, a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak and a member of the project team of the Innovation Incubator of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, participated in a program designed to improve entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. The training was provided by renowned professor Bill Aulet, director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Cambridge in Boston, who was named the best entrepreneurship professor in the United States in 2021.

The first part of the "Train the Trainer two-day educational program based on Disciplined Entrepreneurship framework" was held in the form of an intensive two-day bootcamp in the period 4-5th June in the premises of the Belgrade Science and Technology Park. The program was attended by 20 selected members of the innovation ecosystem of the Republic of Serbia, to who Marius Ursache, an entrepreneur and associate of Professor Aulet, shared his experiences and knowledge in launching startups, commercializing inventions and mentoring innovative companies. The initial part of the program is organized with the aim of training future trainers who will transfer acquired entrepreneurial knowledge through the innovation ecosystem of Serbia.

The second part of the Belgrade Entrepreneurship Development Workshop program - an intensive educational program based on Disciplined Entrepreneurship framework, held in the form of a five-day bootcamp in the period 9-13th June in the premises of the Belgrade Science and Technology Park, gathered 75 members of the innovation ecosystem, researchers, faculty professors, investors, startups and owners of private companies. In this part of the program, Professor Bill Aulet and his colleagues, through constant interaction and intensive teamwork, transferred knowledge and skills related to the methodology of the development of startups and innovative companies, called Disciplined Entrepreneurship, which was developed and is applied at the Boston MIT.

The entrepreneurial training program was implemented as part of the BIO4 Campus project and aims to spread entrepreneurial knowledge and methodology through the Serbian innovation ecosystem, especially at faculties through the work of innovation incubators. Participation in Professor Aulets program was supported by the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak and the Science and Technology Park Čačak within the project "Formation and development of Innovation Incubators at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak".
